(GINZA SIX) A stop may be made for pick-up.
The tour may stop by at GINZA SIX to pick up customers.

Mt. Fuji 5th Station
The bus will head up to the 5th Station along the Subaru Line. The 5th Station is situated at 2,300 meters (7,546 feet) above sea level. At this height, you will be amazed at spectacular, breathtaking views from above the clouds. *Please check the [About Day 1 Itinerary (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)].

Lunch

Lake Ashi Cruise
At Lake Ashi in Hakone, customers can ride a cruise ship. Spend a relaxing time while gazing at the beautiful lake and Mt. Fuji. Please check the [About Day 1 Itinerary (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)].

Hakone Komagatake Ropeway
Take a 7-minute ropeway ride to the peak of Mt. Komagatake. A total of 50 minutes will be spent here, including time to walk around at the peak. Take a cableway ride up to the spiritual Hakone Shrine Mototsumiya (original shrine) that nestles at the mountaintop. Hakone-en
Depending on traffic congestion on the day and any itinerary order change, the tour may disembark at Moto-Hakone Port.

Arrival & Check-in at Hotel in Hakone Area
Go to the hotel via bus or taxi.

From Odawara Station to Shin-Yokohama Station

Take a Nozomi Shinkansen to Kyoto.

Todai-ji Temple (Great Buddha) Nara Park
A World Heritage site. This is the symbol of the Nara Period and one of the world's largest wooden structures. Its huge main hall and bronze Great Buddha are impressive to behold.

Kasuga Taisha Shrine
This Nara Period shrine is designated as a World Heritage Site. The deer of Nara Park are thought to be the shrine messengers. *Please refer to [About Day 2 Itinerary (Nara Afternoon Tour)] in the remarks.

Nara Nagomikan (Gift Shop)
The largest souvenir shop in Nara. Enjoy yourself in this spacious shop and look for the perfect souvenir. *Please refer to [About Day 2 Itinerary (Nara Afternoon Tour)] in the remarks.

Drop-off Service
After Kyoto Station, participants will be dropped off at their hotels.

Nijo Castle
A World Heritage site. Tour the historical castle completed in 1626, which was built to provide lodging for the Tokugawa Shogun and as a palladium for Kyoto Imperial Palace. The impressive, elaborate carvings and decors in the Ninomaru Palace are a must-see. *Please refer to [About Day 3 Itinerary (1-Day Kyoto Tour)].

Kinkaku-ji Temple
A World Heritage site. The wooden architecture is covered in thin layers of pure gold and is surrounded by a beautiful pond.

[Regular] Kyoto Imperial Palace
See the Kyoto Imperial Palace, which was used as the Emperor's residence until about 150 years ago. *Please refer to [About Day 3 Itinerary (1-Day Kyoto Tour)].

[Kyoto Imperial Palace Closed Days] Kitano Tenmangu Shrine
Kitano Tenmangu Shrine is the substitute for Kyoto Imperial Palace on days it is closed to visitors. It is famous for housing the God of scholarship. This shrine's main hall is a designated national treasure. The shrine is especially great to see during the plum blossom and autumn leaf seasons. *Please refer to [About Day 3 Itinerary (1-Day Kyoto Tour)].

Lunch

Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine
Fushimi Inari Taisha is the head shrine of some 40,000 inari-jinja shrines located all over Japan. The bright red Senbon Torii gates are a must-see attraction.

Sanjusangen-do Temple
Visit the world's longest wooden structure, housing 1,001 life-size statues of Buddhist Kannon deities dating back to the 13th century.

Drop-off Service
From Kiyomizu-dera Temple, participants will be dropped off at Kyoto Station, then to hotels.

  • [Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 1 Itinerary (Mt. Fuji & Hakone Tour)]
    - After departure, the tour may stop by at GINZA SIX to pick up customers. Please note that customers may not disembark for a break here.
    - If Mt. Fuji's 5th Station cannot be reached due to road surface freezing, an accident on the Fuji Subaru Line, or weather conditions, the tour will be taken to the highest elevation point possible. No alternative destinations are planned when the tour reaches beyond the 1st Station. When the tour has to turn back at the 1st Station, or when the Fuji Subaru Line is completely blocked, the tour will visit Fujisan World Heritage Center or Lake Kawaguchi Oishi Park. Please note that an alternative itinerary may also be omitted depending on road conditions.
    - Due to weather conditions, Mt. Fuji may not be visible even from the base. However, the tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be given for this reason.
    - If the Lake Ashi cruise or Komagatake Ropeway cannot be boarded (when not visitable due to suspension of operation, road congestion, or conditions at other sightseeing areas), the tour will be guided to one of the following alternative destinations. (The tour will not be canceled and refunds will not be issued for this reason.)
    Swan Lake Cruise Ship on Lake Yamanaka, Odawara Castle, Hakone Venetian Glass Museum, Hakone-en Aquarium, Hakone Ropeway, Hakone Pirate Ship, Narukawa Art Museum, Hakone Checkpoint, Lake Kawaguchi Cruise, Mt. Fuji Panoramic Ropeway, Itchiku Kubota Art Museum, Hakone Shrine, Oshino Shinobi no Sato, Ninja Bus, etc.
    - After the tour, the bus may stop at Hakone area hotels to allow customers on tours with accommodation included to disembark.
    - Depending on the season and day of the week, traffic conditions may vary, and arrival time at each location may be considerably delayed. Thank you for your understanding.
    - On the day when the annual Mt. Fuji Hill Climb is held, which is usually on a weekend in June (schedule for 2023 is yet to be determined), the Fuji Subaru Line is closed until around 14:00. The tour will proceed on this day as well.
    Please note that there will be changes to the itinerary order and sightseeing locations, and the Komagatake Ropeway and Lake Ashi cruise may be changed to alternative itineraries. Furthermore, please note that refunds will not be issued in this case, and customers will not be notified separately when the schedule has been determined.
  • [Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 2 Itinerary (Nara Afternoon Tour)]
    - Participants will walk from the parking lot to Todai-ji Temple (about 15 min one-way). Thank you for your understanding. Please inform us at the time of booking if any person in your group is using crutches or a wheelchair, or has a chronic illness that makes it difficult to walk for long distances.
    - At Kasuga Taisha Shrine, the tour does not include entrance to areas requiring admission.
    - Nara Nagomikan may be omitted from the itinerary if it is closed on the day of the tour, or as a result of traffic congestion.
    - Connection to the Kyoto Night Tour or Kyoto Maiko Dinner is not possible.
  • [Important Notes/Supplements: About Day 3 Itinerary (1-Day Kyoto Tour)]
    - The Kyoto Imperial Palace is closed to visitors on the following days. As such, the tour will visit Kitano Tenmangu Shrine instead. If the closed day falls on the 25th, the tour will visit Nishi Hongan-ji Temple. (Mondays, Tuesday if Monday is a national holiday, and whenever there is an Imperial Household event)
    - Nijo Castle is closed on Tuesdays in January, July, August, and December. (Closed on the following day if Tuesday is a holiday.) If closed, Ryoan-ji Temple will be visited instead.
    - Connections from this tour can be made to the "Kyoto Maiko Dinner" and "Kyoto Night Tour."
    - Participants will walk from the parking lot to Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine (about 15 min one-way). Thank you for your understanding.
